Small Cabins. Big Dreams:.

Welcome to The Little Roadside & PINK Lodge

After celebrating a decade of marriage, we decided to mark the occasion by staying in a cabin near South Haven, Michigan. During our stay, we also explored some properties for a potential getaway for the family. One particular property, 146 Blue Star Hwy, had been on the market for over a year. It appeared rundown, with numerous issues, and its overnight cabins hadn't hosted visitors in over half a century. The inspector deemed it the toughest inspection he'd ever encountered, stating it would require much more than a mere coat of paint.

Yet, undeterred, we made an offer the very next day, and to our joy, it was accepted. The place had a fascinating history, and we felt an immediate connection to the old general store as if it were meant for us. The cabin's vintage wallpaper and charming sinks sparked our imaginations about its potential. Over the past two years, we've made significant changes while preserving all the original structures—the house, the general store, and the cabins. Each cabin now boasts a unique design, brimming with new stories to tell.

The old general store has transformed into "The PINK Lodge," featuring a cozy kitchen and living space, perfect for bonding and unwinding. Hospitality runs in our veins, and we're thrilled to invite you to our charming overnight cabins and lodge. In these small but meaningful spaces, the most treasured memories are made. You can find us easily just off the road, and that's how we came to be known as "Little Roadside."
We eagerly await your visit!
